cancellations

  • 48 Hours notice is required before cancelling or rescheduling a lesson, lessons will not be made up.

  • If a student cancels a lesson with more than 48 hours notice, the lesson will be made up, but must be the same week as the lesson was originally scheduled. Otherwise, the full amount will still be charged.

  • If a student cancels a lesson that is part of a monthly package, that lesson must be made-up the same week as the originally scheduled lesson or it will count as part of the package, as the monthly package is only intended to cover 4 weeks of lessons. Holidays are excepted in this case.

OPTIONAL COVID-19 Safety Guidelines For In-Person Lessons

  • Upon entrance, I will ask the student(s)/parent(s)/guardian(s) if they have travelled outside of Ontario/Canada in the past 14 days, and if they have any COVID-19 symptoms, and if they have or do, I will ask them to return home to self-isolate and reach out to their healthcare provider.

  • Everyone entering my home for lessons must wash or sanitize their hands as they enter, and as they leave.

  • We must maintain a 2 metre distance away from each other.

  • Students/parents/guardians and I are required to wear masks. If you have a medical condition which precludes you from wearing a mask, arrangements can be made for online lessons, using Zoom, Skype, or FaceTime.

  • Practice notes will be e-mailed or dictated to the student/parent/guardian in order to limit physical contact.

  • Drum students must bring their own drumsticks, and guitar students must bring their own guitar/patch cables/tuner.

  • Commonly touched surfaces (drum hardware, guitar amp, chairs, door knobs, hand railings, etc.) will be sanitized often.
